Description
I wanted to join in on the "Superb-Owl" Sunday trend, so I dug through some of my owl photos from Jan 2025. I haven't seen much for owls this winter, nothing like it was last winter, which I was so incredibly lucky to have seen them. It's not common that we get to see owls here, so when I was seeing them like I was, it was truly special. I never saved this image, as it's not perfect, but I do love the way this Great Gray was stretching its wings as it stuck the landing. This owl was always near our home, I was able to be sitting on our porch, watching it hunt in our field and land in the trees near our home, not far off from our porch.
